David Krier

Owner / Founder

David has spent more than 30 years in the construction industry. His journey began during his college years working hands-on in residential construction before earning a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University in 1997.

After graduating, David built his career managing projects for large commercial contractors. These projects ranged from small renovations to large-scale ground-up builds valued up to $110 million. Through this experience, he developed extensive expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and managing subcontractors.

Over time, David noticed that many homeowners struggled with residential construction projects that lacked the organization, communication, and professionalism common in the commercial construction world. Inspired by conversations with friends, family, and neighbors, he set out to change that.

Today, the company is known for its honest approach, strong work ethic with attention to detail and commitment to keeping clients informed and confident throughout every phase of their project.

Zach Krier

Project Manager | Field Supervisor

Zach has been part of the team since the company was founded. He holds a degree in Business Finance from the University of Colorado, combining strong business knowledge with a passion for hands-on building.

Zach has always enjoyed the process of construction and takes pride in being actively involved in the day-to-day progress of projects in the field. His attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure that every project meets the high standards DAK Construction is known for.

He also enjoys building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. He believes that clear communication and trust are key to a successful project. Zach works closely with homeowners throughout the construction process to make sure they feel informed, comfortable, and confident every step of the way.

Christie Krier

Design & Material Management

Christie plays a key role in helping projects come together smoothly from concept to completion. She works closely with homeowners to guide design selections, coordinate materials, and ensure every detail aligns with the overall vision of their project.

With a strong eye for design and exceptional organization, Christie helps simplify what can often feel like an overwhelming part of the construction process. By managing material selections and coordinating timelines, she ensures everything is prepared when it’s needed, keeping projects efficient and on track.
